On Friday 20th May, MMU Dance will be sharing the very best of their creative work from 2016 at the Axis Arts Centre, MMU: Cheshire.

The day will include two concerts of new dance work from their single honours, combined honours and postgraduate programmes alongside guest performances from the local dance community, dance graduates working in the industry, lecturers from the dance team and visiting artists from Cheshire Dance’s Inquiring Bodies 4 event. Running alongside this will be an exhibition in Axis OpenSpace featuring their distinctive screendance work.

A key part of the event will be a public, round-table discussion focusing on the extensive range of careers and pathways available to dance graduates. This will provide an invaluable space for graduates to ask professionals from the region about their experiences of working in the diverse field of dance.

This platform of new screendance, choreography and improvisation emerges from MMU dance, one of the most established Dance degree programmes in the UK that is known nationally and internationally for its creative, reflective and risk taking approach to dance.
