Join us at our next CPD day – ‘Introduction to Dance and Disability Practice’
With Emma Thomas and Ben Wilson
Tue 13 May, 9:30am till 4pm, at Storyhouse Chester
A day for those with little or no experience of dance and disability practice or those wishing to refresh skills and gain new insights.
ABOUT THE DAY
Co-led by Emma Thomas (Cheshire Dance), and Ben Wilson (Cheshire Dance Associate Artist), the day will cover a variety of elements including creative practice in disability contexts, use of language and communication skills, understanding behaviour and more.
Ben is a dance artist with Downs Syndrome who will share his own experiences of learning and working in dance as well as leading some movement experiences for attendees. His invaluable insight into dance and disability practice elevates this training and provides an opportunity for any dance artist to further develop their practice and gain new insights.
