In Spring 2021, thanks to the #CulturalRecoveryFund, Cheshire Dance offered 8 heavily subsidised “Connect, Move, Learn” Schools Packages.
This offer has included… a bespoke session for one year group, a CPD wellbeing workshop for staff and a Senior Leader’s meeting to provide guidance on embedding the art form into student’s learning going forwards.
Whilst this initiative is now complete, at Cheshire Dance we continue to work with schools across the borough to enrich the learning and lives of young people through dance. With an approach that is inclusive and person-centred, and with a dedicated team of artists that are passionate about delivering creative interventions that champion the health & wellbeing of students, please do contact us to discuss how we can our work with your school.
Cheshire Dance offers workshops and classes suitable for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
* After School Clubs
* Full Day Workshops
* Half Day Workshops
Cheshire Dance workshops and classes are tailored to suit individual needs and can be customised for specific age ranges, abilities, special educational needs and complex disabilities.
Cheshire Dance is also able to work with schools to deliver school improvement plans and to enrich the current curriculum framework through quality dance practises that add real value.
"We have loved having Cheshire Dance in school. They are professional and understanding of the current climate and are constantly providing unique ways to bring dance to life in school, whilst keeping safety as a priority. The children have made so much progress in dance and the teachers have valued the expert coaching to help inform their own teaching. Thank you!"
