At Cheshire Dance, YOUR experience is our priority. Whether you’re dancing with us in a community class, have joined us for an event, are working or partnering with us or simply have something to say about the services we offer, we want your feedback.
Our doors are always open and we welcome you to stop by, or contact us by email, phone (01606 861 770) or by messaging us via social media. Your comments help us to know we are doing things right and your suggestions help us to improve.
Complaints
We know that sometimes we might not get things right but it’s important for us to know so we can work on giving everyone that engages with us the best possible experience . Please rest assured that any complaints will not affect the level of service you receive from Cheshire Dance and its team – and all complaints are treated seriously.
How to Make a Complaint
To raise a concern, please contact us either in person, by calling the office or in writing. Contact details for individual staff members can be found on this page, or you are welcome to approach us by emailing hello@cheshiredance.org. Your complaint will be directed to the person that will be best placed to assist you.
To help us understand the nature of your complaint, please let us know:
For complaints sent in writing, we will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days. Within 10 working days, you will receive a full reply including how we plan to deal with the complaint.
Whilst we look into your concern, we will keep you updated and will work quickly with you to find a resolution.
If you still unhappy with the outcome, you can request that your complaint is refer to the Director of Cheshire Dance, Adam Holloway or the Board of Cheshire Dance. At this stage you may be asked to attend a meeting; a written record of the meeting will be documented and a formal reply to your complaint will be issued in writing.
In the exceptional circumstance that you are still unhappy with the response of the Director and/or Board of Cheshire Dance, you can escalate your concern to the Charity Commission.
Charity Commission
The Charity Commission regulates registered charities in England and Wales. It makes sure that charities are accountable, well-run and meet their legal obligations. The Charity Commission is able to intervene in matters where there is serious risk of significant harm to, or abuse of, charities, their beneficiaries or assets. Any allegation of harassment, discrimination or bullying is treated very seriously and, if proven, may result in disciplinary action being taken against the perpetrator.
Bullying and harassment is behaviour that makes someone feel intimidated or offended. Harassment is unlawful under the Equality Act 2010.
Cheshire Dance operates a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination or bullying of any kind.
