I moved to the UK in 2006 from Italy, where I was raised, to further my education at London Contemporary Dance School where I graduated with an MA in Contemporary Dance.
As a dance artist I worked and collaborated nationally and internationally with numerous independent creators and established dance companies, including Motionhouse, Joli Vyann and Henri Oguike performing in indoor and outdoor settings.
My development as a dancer has been informed and enriched by my parallel studies in the Franklin Method®, that I now teach as a level 3 educator after completing my training with Eric Franklin in Paris and subsequently in London. Recently I have also embarked on osteopathy training.
As a facilitator I have been delivering sessions in vocational, professional, community and educational settings and I currently work as a dance lecturer for the University of Central Lancashire.
As part of my ongoing research, I have been developing a personal dance practice for refining movement skills and developing movement awareness; this practice includes meditation, anatomical embodiment explorations using the Franklin Method®, solo movement improvisation and reflection.
"An Independent Dance Artist, Franklin Method educator and Pilates instructor with considerable national and international experience of working professionally as a performer and teacher."
