At Cheshire Dance we champion the role of dance artists in society and work with both emerging and established artists to create performance and engagement practice, support their professional development and career ambitions.

Our training and Continuing Professional Development offer places the artist at its heart. From regular courses such as Safeguarding In Dance Training and First Aid, to bespoke professional development sessions with distinguished practitioners, artists and lecturers from the UK and abroad, Cheshire Dance nurtures, celebrates and values the artistic talent and ambition of those that live in and/or work in the North West and elsewhere.

Our team champions diversity, equality and authenticity, and as the lead organisation for Dance Consortia North West – a partnership of dance development organisations, touring companies, venues, higher education institutions and a network of independent artists – we play a role in supporting artists, creating new opportunities for artists and raising artists’ profiles in the region and beyond.
