Would you like to gain work experience at a large-scale outdoor arts festival?
Now Northwich, produced by Cheshire Dance, is calling out to young people, age 16-21, to join its Young Producer Programme 2025.
This is a FREE opportunity to get real, hands-on experience working at a festival, which draws in around 25,000 visitors from across the North West.
Taking part in weekly workshops led by Cheshire Dance and industry experts, you’ll learn about all aspects that go into organising a festival, and you’ll develop skills in festival production, programming, event management and arts marketing.
Along with gaining valuable experience in working in the arts and culture sector, this is a chance to meet new people, make new memories, unleash your creativity and have a fantastic time – the Young Producers Programme is a unique opportunity to do something different!

What’s involved
As part of the Young Producer Programme, you’ll take part in regular sessions to help organise, plan and deliver the festival.
Except for a couple of sessions, our regular meeting time will be on Wednesdays, 6-8pm (full dates listed below).
Sessions take place at Winsford Library. As the festival approaches, we will meet in at other locations in Northwich, and depending on your interests you may also go out to meet community groups across the region, details to be confirmed nearer the time.
