Contract Term: March 2023 – March 2024
Cheshire Dance is seeking a Fundraiser to assist the organisation at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory. The Fundraiser will work to add value to Cheshire Dance’s existing funding streams and generate income for the organisation to leverage its expertise and reputation to create new dance activity for public benefit.
The Fundraiser will work alongside the Director and team to develop a programme with Full Cost Recovery and a clear exit strategy, including seed funding for ongoing fundraising, adding to our evidence base and developing assets for advocacy purposes. Sources include Trusts and Foundations as well as Crowdfunding and donor development.
The ideal candidate or organisation will have solid experience of securing funds with arts organisations and/or charities and have the confidence and ability to navigate funding sources with high potential for success.
Cheshire Dance is a registered charity that leads the artistic provision and support of dance in all its forms. It aims to ensure everyone has access to dance and can benefit from its transformative power and particularly those facing inequality of opportunity.
Cheshire Dance particularly welcomes expressions of interest from people under-represented in dance and the arts. Interview questions will be issued in advance and we welcome conversations with enquirers as they prepare their Expressions of Interest. Once appointed, we will seek to address any support, access or equality needs the Fundraiser may have in carrying out their role.
