Cheshire Dance delivers an annual First Aid Course at its studio in Winsford Cheshire. This course is for dance artists, facilitators, teachers and others, and is designed for designated first aiders as well as those simply requiring a comprehensive first aid course.

Learn how to administer first aid in your practise. Enhance or refresh your knowledge and gain an understanding of different incidents/injuries to ensure you treat participants and colleagues efficiently and effectively.

Course content includes:

* Introduction and explanation.

* First aid health and safety regulations.

* Learn about the priorities of first aid and how to manage an incident safely.

* Treatments of unconsciousness including CPR, Shock, bleeding, and common injuries such as strains, sprains.

* Combination of practical and theory sessions to deal with first aid emergencies.
