Winsford Youth & Community Forum is working with and on behalf of children, young people, and adults throughout Winsford and the surrounding area by providing activities, projects, facilities, and services for all – regardless of age, to assist them via community interaction, involvement, and development by working in partnership with other organisations and agencies
Winsford Youth and Community Forum (Previously known as Winsford Youth Forum) was established in 1981 as a Charity and a Company we do this by working in partnership with other Voluntary Organisations who have young peoples and interests at heart.
In June 2017 those aims were extended to include adults, to reflect the change of name and the increasingly change of use of New Images. In Accordance with good practice and requirements of funders and sponsors, we have policies and procedures to ensure all legal requirements are adhered to, allowing all users to develop, have fun, enjoyment and to participate with staff and other young people and adults within a safe environment.
Our Mission is the continuance of youth provision in harmony with new developments when meeting the needs of the wider community. We will achieve this by constantly listening, learning, and adapting our delivery, management, and the centre itself. Maximising use and diversifying is essential to becoming financially self-sustaining which is our ultimate mission.
We exist to support young people’s development, offering opportunities to gain, increase and develop skills, knowledge, self awareness and confidence, and enabling them to make positive and healthy life choices through our wide range of programmes aimed at different age groups.
