Nurturing Wellbeing
A series of workshops that use dance to support children to establish a sense of well being whilst developing strategies for self regulation and emotional resilience. These workshops encourage pupils to work together, be creative, share ideas and support each other.
This workshop is available in minimum 6 week blocks and is suggested for KS1 and KS2 pupils.
Ukrainian Dance Workshops
Traditional Ukrainian dance classes will introduce children to dances from different Ukrainian regions. Learn more about culture, costumes and traditions through dance with Olena Hrabchak, a highly experienced dancer from the Ukraine.
This workshop is available for full or half day bookings only and is suggested for KS1 upwards. The workshops benefit from 1 lead artist and 1 support artist.
Cross Curricular Workshops
Our cross curricula workshops use dance to embed learning in other subject areas, allowing students to explore other forms of learning. These workshops promote creative thinking alongside critical thinking to deepen students’ understanding in topic work. Any topic can be enhanced using dance but some suggestions could be the Water Cycle, Vikings, Tudors, Animals, Rain forest, Life in a Castle, dance from around the world… amongst many others.
Cross curricula workshops are available in minimum 6 week blocks and are suitable for any age group.
Bespoke Projects
Do you have an event, project idea or performance that could be enhanced with dance? Would you like everyone in your school to be more active? Do you need support with curriculum development or planning? Are you working towards Arts Mark? Perhaps there are issues you would like to address – and dance could be a way to tackle them.
Whatever your idea, get in touch and we can work with you to design a bespoke offer that works with your setting’s needs in mind.
